Marek Colek built a ship on the
roof of his
apartment building in downtown Czechoslovakia.
With a small crew of a goat, a large cat, and
a truant skeleton, he sailed
the Black Sea by day and the Carpathian Mountains at night.
One day in Montreal, Marek fell in love and was married.
Today, he and his lovely wife Pat Shewchuk run Tin Can
Forest Animation, where they produce both still and moving
pictures that bring merriment to young and old the world over. |

Hutsul is one crazy dude. If he's not sledding through the snow-covered meadows
of rural Ontario, he's probably doing donuts in his '86 Ford Ranger in some
mall parking lot. Hutsul has also been a staff writer at the Timmins Expositor,
a doodler of comics, and a professional floor hockey player. |

Melinda dreams about cupcakes and
donuts and sweets and when she
wakes up, she draws them to make sure they don't lose their tastiness.
She draws the things she wants and the things that make her happy,
then she paints a bed of gouache for them to lie on to keep them
safe. |
