Marek Colek built a ship on the
roof of his apartment building in downtown Czechoslovakia. With a small crew of a goat, a large cat, and
a truant skeleton, he sailed the Black Sea by day and the Carpathian Mountains at night. One day in Montreal, Marek fell in love and was married. Today, he and his lovely wife Pat Shewchuk run Tin Can
Forest Animation, where they produce both still and moving pictures that bring merriment to young and old the world over.


Clayton Hanmer (aka CTON) does good work and is lots of fun. He reads comics, he is a bit of a hick, and he likes to wear his underwear inside out. Clayton has worked with many great clients over the years including Owl Magazine, Nickelodeon, The Walrus, Globe & Mail, Toshiba, and a bunch of other weirdos.


Hutsul is one crazy dude. If he's not sledding through the snow-covered meadows of rural Ontario, he's probably doing donuts in his '86 Ford Ranger in some mall parking lot. Hutsul has also been a staff writer at the Timmins Expositor, a doodler of comics, and a professional floor hockey player.


Melinda dreams about cupcakes and donuts and sweets and when she wakes up, she draws them to make sure they don't lose their tastiness. She draws the things she wants and the things that make her happy, then she paints a bed of gouache for them to lie on to keep them safe.


Aaron Leighton is a Toronto illustrator whose creepy, crawly, colourful work has appeared in publications such as the New York Times, Fast Company, Macleans and Chatelaine. Seeing as he loves both graveyards and candy, it's no surprise that Halloween is his favourite time
of year.


Steve Manale is an award-deserving cartoonist and illustrator. He's worked for Nickelodeon Magazine, OWL, Chickadee, The Toronto Star, and many other famous clients he can brag about. Embracing a "never give up" attitude, Steve lives in Toronto, Canada, where he is still hard at work shopping his feature-length screenplay about an Undead Hungarian Chef entitled 'Ghoulish Goulash'.


Anna Jane McIntyre is studying interactive kinetic print installation at Concordia University's MFA program in Montreal. Anna has always wanted to join the circus and is currently planning a robotic circus that she will later tour around Canada in a cube van.


Steve Wilson is a bio-writing specialist who draws, paints and designs in his spare time. He has written bios for such clients as Tom Arnold, Kissinger and Gord Martineau. He has also drawn / painted / designed for such clients as MuchMusic, Nickelodeon, Reader's Digest, Playstation, Billy Talent, and Kelloggs but finds bio-writing more lucrative and fun.
